Prefarrow STREP SHIELD®
Use Prefarrow Strep Shield® to help prevent diseases caused by Streptococcus suis serotype 2 in healthy swine. Vaccinating sows and gilts five and two weeks prior to farrowing helps protect the piglets by the transfer of passive immunity via colostrum. For active immunization, administer to piglets at 3 and 5 weeks of age or older.

Directions For Use
Administer a 2 mL dose intramuscularly to gilts and sows 5 and 2 weeks prior to each farrowing. This will provide passive protection to their nursing piglets when born via colostrum. For active immunization in piglets, administer 2 mL intramuscularly at 3 and 5 weeks of age.
